Carpentry & Joinery

A set of City & Guilds approved carpentry and joinery instructional videos for every practical task in the C&G 6706-13 level 1 Carpentry & Joinery course.  Demonstrated by Paul, an LCGI Master Carpenter and college lecturer. 


Paul began his career with an apprenticeship at Taylor Woodrow in 1981, and then over the next 30+ years worked on a wide range of projects, from large-scale construction and site management to shop fitting and domestic carpentry. After transitioning to teaching carpentry more than 12 years ago, he recognised that high-quality video resources are a way to engage students more effectively and support teachers. Paul converted his garage into a filming studio and within the Covid protocols hired the necessary professional crew and equipment to film these videos.
